Hi there! On this site I go by MDG, which stands for Million Dollar Girl, a nickname given to me by My Indian Love who is often referred to here as MIM, or, My Indian Man.
My Indian Love began in the summer of 2009 as a relationship blog and a way to connect and share my experiences with people from all over the world - many of whom are also in their own intercultural relationships. After three years, MIM and I decided to end our relationship. The blog, however, continued gaining popularity and therefore I decided to keep it up and running in hopes the information provided would help others on their journeys.
Besides blogging I love to sing and have performed all over the country in musicals, amusement parks, bands, duos, and cruise lines.
I also love animals and spending time with my two wonderful dogs. Going to the park or nearby bike trail with them is an almost daily thing.
I also love to jog and have completed both half and full marathons.
I love to travel too; most recently I have taken a road trip across the entire United Sates. I have also visited India, plus many tropical vacation spots while working on cruise ships. I was raised in Ohio but have also lived and worked in Boulder, Colorado and Nashville, Tennessee.
And I also love to eat! I get excited to try new dishes but I'd have to say my favorites are sushi and Mediterranean foods. Of course I like Indian food too, my favorites being chicken tikka, chana masala, palak paneer, and a nice glass of mango lassi to wash it all down!
